Abstract
|
|
|
According to the comparative experimental study of anti-thrombosis effect comparing Cornu Bubali, Cornu Bos tauri, and Counu Rhinoceri with the rats which are induced thrombosis by endotoxin injection through the vain of a tail, after oral injection of the extract of Cornu Bubali, Cornu Bos tauri, and Cornu .Rhinoceri, conclusions by obervation of the number of blood platelets, prothrombin time, F.D.P. density and time to measure the quantity of fibrinogen are as follows.
1. As for 솟 number of blood platelets, Cornu Bubali. Cornu Bos tauri, and Cornu Rhinoceri injection group all showed significant increasing tendency.
2. As for the prothrombin time, Cornu Bubali and Cornu Bos tauri extract injection group showed the expected result ; shortening of prothrombin time but Cornu Rhinoceri extract injection group showed no significant result,
3. As for F.D.P. density, all of them showed decreasing tendency in comparision with that of the standard group but not significant as expected.
4. As for the time to measure the quantity of fibrinogen, Cornu Bubali and Cornu Bos tauri extract injection group showed significant increase in time to measure the quantity of fibrinogen, but Counu Rhinoceri extract injection group showed no significant result.
By the above result, Cornu Bubali and Cornu Bos tauri are expected to be utilized with their anti-thrombosis effect and to bo substituted instead of Cornu Rhinoceri, while Cornu Rhinoceri needs further investigation and study through repeated experiment in proving its effect as known until now
